One Year Ago....Well. Um. Ooops. One Year+.....

....we finally had our entire family under one roof. One year ago we walked off the plane and into the arms of family and friends: our family together at last.

What a difference a year makes. So much has changed. Some for the good, some not so much. The boys and growing and changing. Dad left us. Troy and I, well, we're aging.

So many firsts, too many lasts. The moral of the story is, don't take anything for granted. As cliched as it is, life goes too fast -- there are no do-overs. (I try to remember this but admittedly don't always succeed.)
